It's crazy what a little makeup, hair dye, and a flat-iron can do for you. It took me the longest time to learn how to do a makeup style that flatters my face. Like fine wine, we get better with time.

this is so true!! it took me ages to ditch the pink lipstick (it was doing me no favours) and try the red, now i cant live without it!

I understand COMPLETELY! I used to wear thick amounts of black eyeliner with no blush or lip-color and hardly any mascara. It was not pretty, haha. Red lipstick is definitely a staple in my overall look, and I can't tell you how many wonders it does for me!
